The 'Cathedral in the Dark' tours happen in small groups outside the opening hours. The darkness changes how you see the space: the sound of footsteps, a hint of incense, shadows on the walls. Under the guidance of experienced cathedral guides, participants get fascinating insights into the spiritual and cultural significance of this impressive building. This gives visitors the chance to see the cathedral from a totally new angle. In the dark, details and moods come out that you often miss in daylight.
The tour kicks off at the Cathedral Info, on the south side of the cathedral. During the tour, you'll check out the interior (nave, aisles, and transept). The crypt and imperial tombs are at the end of the tour.
