Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Start the day with an early breakfast before departing for the Maasai Mara—a longer drive of roughly 5 to 6 hours through the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy the changing scenery as you approach one of Africa’s most celebrated reserves. Upon arrival, check in to your chosen camp or lodge and have a sumptuous lunch. The afternoon offers your first taste of Mara’s rich wildlife on a relaxed game drive, where you may see lions, elephants, and cheetahs roaming the expansive savannah. Enjoy an early dinner at the lodge and settle in for a night under the starry sky of the Mara.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to the Big Five and offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. Enjoy meals at your lodge and relax in the evening.

Day 8: Return to Nairobi & Departure

After breakfast, check out from your Maasai Mara lodge. Begin your return journey to Nairobi, 5–6 hours. Enjoy one last glimpse of Kenya’s incredible landscape during this scenic drive. Stop en route at a lovely local restaurant for lunch. Arrive back in Nairobi in the early evening, where your transfer to the airport or your final hotel can be arranged, marking the close of your enriching 8‐day journey.
