With the Vienna Welcome Card, you can discover Vienna in a relaxed, flexible, and digital way. Ride the bus, tram, and subway as much as you like (24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days) and enjoy exclusive discounts at over 80 attractions – from the big highlights to real Viennese insider tips.
The 72-hour card is available until December 31, December 2025 and we'll be available from 1 January 2026, it'll be replaced by the 72-hour FLEX card.

Your stay will be particularly authentic with "Vienna by Locals": In our digital magazine, you'll find personal tips from Viennese people – from hidden cafés to charming Grätzel to favorite places off the beaten track.

You can book many offers directly via the app – easy, fast, and often with Fast Entry for direct access.

Here's how it works:
After booking, you'll receive an 8-digit code. Download the Vienna Welcome Card app to your smartphone and enter the code exactly – pay attention to upper/lower case and spaces. You'll need an active internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) to enter the code and save your card on the device. Without internet, an error message will appear and the card cannot be added.

In Vienna, click on "Activate now" in the app, enter your name (important for the public transport ticket) and your year of birth – and your experience can begin. From this moment on, your card is valid for the selected period.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Activating the 72-hour FLEX card
Use up to 80 attractions for 72 hours and use 2x 24-hour public transport tickets flexibly during this time.
The first ticket is automatically started when the 72-hour FLEX is activated.
You can freely select and activate the second ticket within the 72-hour time window.
JUST AS YOU NEED IT!

The expired 24-hour card will be hidden as soon as it's no longer valid. Once you activate the second 24-hour card, it will be visible in the app.
You have 72 hours to activate both tickets after the first activation.
