There, we'll check out AERAJ — the Joanes Artisans Association — where you can check out Marajoara crafts, made with ancient techniques and inspired by the region's rich indigenous art. It's a chance to appreciate traditional knowledge and get unique pieces straight from the people who make them.

The tour keeps going with a visit to the ruins of the Jesuit Church, built in the 17th century, which hold stories of colonization and missionary presence in the region. Next, we head up to the natural viewpoint of Joanes, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Marajoara coast - a perfect spot for photos and some quiet time.

Before heading back, you've got some free time to chill out and take a dip at Joanes Beach, with its calm waters and cozy vibe. Lunch is optional and you can grab a bite at local restaurants that serve up some yummy Marajoara dishes, like filhote, regional shrimp, and of course, buffalo cheese.
