New hands-on experience
Cross the Mekong by local ferry and step into peaceful village life just outside Phnom Penh. We will greet you at the dock and walk you to our home, where your farm-to-bottle workshop begins.
You will join Sophors in her family garden to pick fresh lemongrass and other herbs for the distillation. As we walk together along quiet countryside paths, you will see daily life unfold beyond the city and meet the people who live it.
Back at the garden, you will chop, load the still, and watch the oil appear drop by drop. Every part of the process is hands-on. You will bottle and label your own creation to take home.
This is not just a class. It is an immersive farm-to-bottle workshop where you will experience each step and carry home the scent of Cambodia in your hands.

We will do a bit of light walking. No problem to wear flip-flops. It can be hot.
Take the local ferry from Phnom Penh Ferry Station (near NagaWorld Casino) to Areyksat. It runs every 5 minutes and takes just a few minutes to cross. We’ll be waiting for you at the Areyksat Ferry Dock at 8:15 AM, right across the river. Look out for a smiling host ready to welcome you.
