We will meet at the Lo Vial metro station, where we will take a "colectivo," one of the most traditional and popular means of public transportation in Santiago. This short trip will be part of the experience, showing you how the people of Santiago get around on a daily basis.
We will begin our tour in the historic MADECO-MADEMSA neighborhood, a neighborhood with a strong working-class past that reflects the industrial and social memory of the San Joaquín district. Here you will learn about its history, marked by the lives of the workers who shaped this community.
