Discover the traditional Chinese-inspired cloisonné enamel art in the cultural district of Yongqingfang. This immersive DIY experience introduces the craftsmanship of filigree inlay, where fine metal wires outline intricate patterns and colorful enamel fills bring them to life.

You will explore a modern hands-on interpretation of this traditional decorative technique inspired by classical Chinese enamel art.

Participants can choose from multiple creative projects, including mirrors, copper plaques, necklaces, or water ripple lamps, each offering different levels of complexity and crafting time.

You will begin by selecting a design pattern and transferring it onto the base material. Then, using fine metal wire, you will outline the pattern to create raised compartments. After that, you will fill each section with colored enamel pigments, carefully layering colors to achieve depth and visual harmony.

Each piece is completed through a curing process, transforming raw materials into a polished decorative artwork.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and fully guided, allowing participants to experience traditional craftsmanship through modern DIY methods.
