Beat the summer heat on our 3-day private guided tour of Zhangjiajie. Explore Avatar Mountains, Tianmen Cave, Golden Whip Brook, Glass Bridge, Huanglong Cave, Mengdong River rafting, and Furong Town.
Day 1 | Zhangjiajie National Forest Park & Tianmen Mountain
Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup and ascend the mountains via the Bailong Elevator. Spend 3 hours exploring the Yuanjiajie area, home to the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain and the First Bridge under Heaven.
Afterward, enjoy a 3.5-hour, 5-kilometer flat and shaded hike along the streams of Golden Whip Brook.
In the afternoon, proceed to Tianmen Mountain for a 3-hour visit before returning to your hotel.
Early Start Recommendation: For the good experience and to avoid crowds and heat, we recommend the earliest entry slots (6:30–7:00 or 7:00–8:00). Travelers staying near Wulingyuan East Gate should depart 10 minutes earlier, while those in downtown Zhangjiajie should depart around 40 minutes earlier.

Day 2 | Mengdong River Rafting & Furong Ancient Town
After hotel pickup, take a 2-hour drive to the Mengdong River Visitor Center. Collect your rafting gear and store your luggage (30 minutes).
Embark on a 3-hour, 17-kilometer rafting journey down the canyon, passing rapids and waterfalls. After the rafting, take 2 hours to shower, change, and enjoy lunch (at your own expense). A 20-minute transfer then brings you to Furong Ancient Town.
Spend 3.5 hours wandering the historic stone paths and viewing the illuminated cliffside waterfalls at night before your return transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 | Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Huanglong Cave
Following hotel pickup, explore the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and its Glass Bridge. Spend 1 hour on the Glass Bridge (optional activities such as zip line, slide, and bungee jumping available at your own expense), followed by a 2.5-hour flat walk along the canyon stream.
After a 30-minute transfer and 1.5-hour lunch break, visit Huanglong Cave for 2.5 hours — an underground site of stalactites with a constant temperature of 16°C.
At the end of the tour, return to your hotel or take a direct transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport or High-Speed Railway Station.
