Our English-speaking guide will take you through the history of locations visited in both fact and not without some humor and fun-facts, we call it infotainment!

The tour focuses on travelers who want to spend more time at the locations and those who are slow walkers but still can climb stairs and walk on cobblestones and other uneven surfaces.

You will be on a guided tour of the Roskilde Cathedral both inside and when weather permits a walk around outside.

The guide will take you to visit the Roskilde Cathedral, the final resting place for almost all Danish Christian Kings.
We spend around 1½hours at the Roskilde Cathedral giving you time to explore yourself and making time for the slow walker to keep up during the guided tour.

The next stop is a 1½hour visit to the Viking Ship Museum at the bay of Roskilde. The guide will make a short intro and then you have time to explore the museum on your own.
Our guide will introduce you to the museum and lead you up to the museum itself. Hereafter there is time to explore the site and displays in the very vibrant museum.

On the way (approx. 45minutes) to Hillerod to see the Frederiksborg Palace and maybe lunch, we drive through the rural side of the island of Zealand as our guide will comment on the things we pass.


Arriving in the town of Hillerod. You will have time (3 hours) to, on your own hand and at your own pace, experience the incredible renaissance Frederiksborg Palace.

In Hillerod, you will have the opportunity to, at your own pace see the magnificent renaissance place of Frederiksborg, built in the 1700s century by one of the most famous kings of the dual monarchy Denmark-Norway.

If you would like lunch, there is a local café with Danish and International lunch classics.
Should you prefer, a local Bakery on the walking street provides fresh sandwiches or Danish pastry. With a sandwich, don´t miss out on having your lunch on one of the benches by the lake surrounding the Frederiksborg Palace

- You will not miss out on your daily tour of the fitness center. Be prepared for walking.
- Travelers who use walking frames, walkers or cane can enjoy this tour as we do things at a calm pace.
- The driver is not trained for ensuring that walkers or walking frames or alike is correctly engaged for safe usage. This is the user's responsibility.
- Fresh air and a taste of the Danish weather is part of the tour. So for clothing, do as the Danes say; There is no bad weather, just the wrong clothing!

ATTENTION; THE DISPLAYED PICKUP TIME IS FOR THE CENTRAL PICKUP POINT (in front of Hotel Astoria/Central Pickup Point) at 0900.
The time for hotel pick-ups will be sent as an email, some 36 hours before the start.
