This signature tour opens up the remote areas of Florida’s Everglades right before your eyes! Experience the popular 3.5-hour eco-adventure by boat, kayak, and on foot.
You will be in the company of a Master Naturalist tour guide throughout, who will introduce you to the history of the area and point out the extraordinary flora and fauna as you tour. Using a dedicated kayak transport boat, see some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Everglades, yet still be back in time for lunch, dinner, or another tour.
Encounter a wide variety of wildlife, from manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles, to bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets and roseate spoonbills, to name just a few.
Each tour is tailored to the group and the natural environment of the day, making every tour different. No trip is canned and the wildlife and conditions are wild, just like you’d expect from the Everglades!

• Maximum of 6 participants per tour
• Please dress for the weather and bring any sun protection you feel is necessary
• No previous kayaking experience required
• Tours leave from Chokoloskee Island, 3 miles from Everglades City. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time
Meeting Location: Our meet location is The Port of the Islands Marina at 525 Newport Drive, Naples, FL 34114. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can get parked, use the restrooms, etc. We will board the boat five minutes before the tour departure time. Please know that refunds are NOT provided if you miss the tour.
Parking instructions: When you arrive at Port of the Islands, continue straight towards the marina.. On your right is a large, FREE parking lot. Our guests are authorized to park here despite the Tow Away Zone signs. You should see the fire station and the ship store across the street.
Should you wish to park a bit closer, you can park next to the marina/ship store and behind the fire station for a $10 parking fee.
There are restrooms inside the Ship’s Store.
Please meet your captain at the picnic tables located in the back of the Ship’s Store. Your captain has your name and will bring you the boat when it is time to board.
