From Helsinki: Tallinn Guided Day-Trip incl. Ferry & Dinner

Explore the historic Tallinn Old Town on our a guided day trip from Helsinki. This 9-hour tour includes round-trip ferry, a guided walking tour, free time, and a buffet dinner on the return.
A guided trip to the historic Old Town of Tallinn, one of the best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Best of all, Tallinn is only a 2h30m ferry trip from Helsinki. This day-long tour (around 9 hours) is organised in small groups of up to 12 people and includes the ferry transfer to Tallinn and back, a guided city tour, and a buffet dinner on the return ferry to Finland.

What to expect:
You will meet-up with our experienced guide at the Katjanokka terminal in Helsinki city centre. The guide is travelling with you the whole day. The ferry to Tallinn leaves at 10:30 and arrives to Tallinn at 13:00. You can pre-book an optional brunch on board, or have lunch in any of the restaurants on the ferry. We recommend you have lunch before our arrival to Tallinn.

Upon arrival to Tallinn, the Old Town is a 10 to 15 minute walk away. This is where the guided walking tour starts. We will visit all of Tallinn's essential landmarks like the Viru Gate, the gothic Town Hall, the Aleksander Nevski Cathedral and Toompea Castle. We will also stop at scenic viewing platforms. Following the walking tour, you'll have the opportunity to discover the Old Town independently.

We will travel back to Helsinki at 17:00. On board the ferry we will enjoy a buffet dinner (included in the tour) featuring classic Finnish dishes with fish, shrimp, meats, salads, and more. There is also a wide vegetarian/vegan menu, gluten/lactose-free options, and complementary drinks. Arrival back to the harbour in Helsinki is at 19:30.

Sustainability: For our ferry transfer, we are voluntarily purchasing biofuel tickets. This allows the ferry company to replace the fossil fuel for our journey with 100% renewable liquefied biogas (LBG), reducing our travel's climate footprint by up to 90%.
