Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Day 5: Kakum National Park and Cape Coast Castle

Visit Kakum National Park, the second-largest national park in Ghana. Hike through the park and walk on the 350-meter-long canopy walkway, suspended 11 to 40 meters above the ground.

Next, visit Cape Coast Castle, the youngest of the three slave castles in Ghana, yet the most significant in history. Learn about its history and significance. Drive back to Accra and spend the night there.

Day 6: Accra City Tour

Visit the WEB DuBois Memorial Centre, the home of the Father of Pan Africanism. Explore the mausoleum for him and his wife on the site.

Next, visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where the first president of Ghana declared the independence of Ghana. Explore the museum housing his personal belongings and the mausoleum where he and his wife were buried.

Stop at the Arts and Crafts Market to purchase Ghanaian-made and inspired arts and crafts as souvenirs. Finally, visit Independence Square, also known as the Black Star Square, a vast area built for national gatherings in 1961. Spend the night in Accra.

Day 7: Departure

Depending on your time of departure, have some time for last-minute shopping and packing. A guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Kotoka International Airport for your final departure.
