** Our culinary tour begins with an aromatic greek coffee and the classic Thessaloniki breakfast pastry: bugatsa. After getting introduced to the local food scene and learn how its diverse cross-cultural background has influenced current flavors, we will wander around the city’s food markets, delis and hidden gems and savor local products while meeting the people behind. Finally, we’ll share together a lunch meal with tasty food dishes like soutzoukakia meatballs, local pies, roasted feta etc, and sense what food is: a way to meet and make vivid connections !
