Explore the cave that according to the myth, Rhea gave birth to Zeus. Live the experience of a shepherd's life at his traditional paddock and visit picturesque villages.
This tour starts at Psihro village, where according to mythology Rea hid there and gave birth to Zeus escaping the child murderer Saturn. You will then visit the authentic stockyard of a local shepherd and learn how to feed and milk the sheep and goats. After that we will cook delicious Cretan dishes for you by using traditional ingredients and do some bird watching. The tour ends at the beautiful village of Krasi where you can see the 2000-year-old plane tree.
