Begin your tour with a visit to one or more of the cliff-top villages like Oia or Firostefani, overlooking the volcanic caldera and the Aegean Sea. If you’ve chosen the option, visit a winery perched on the caldera edge to sample local wines or enjoy lunch in a nice tavern with a view.
