Urlanta Waterfalls: A day's experience Landscapes and Nature

The Urlanta waterfall is a hidden paradise in the mountains of eastern Guatemala. You can enjoy a unique adventure in nature while you immerse yourself in its cold waters.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala or Guatemala City to begin a tour of approximately 3 hours. During the tour you will see beautiful landscapes formed by the mountain ranges of eastern Guatemala and observe different villages along the way. We will make a brief stop for breakfast (not included in the price) and to go to the bathroom if you need it. The last 40 minutes of the tour will be on a dirt road.

When you arrive at the nature reserve in the Jalapa Mountains, you will follow a dirt road through coffee and fruit trees that descends from where we leave the vehicle to the welcome center and then to the waterfalls. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothes for walking on the dirt path. Before arriving at the falls, you will be able to observe the breathtaking views along the way and from the viewpoints specially made for you to appreciate its beauty. Once at the waterfall you can get under the waterfall or behind it. Outside of the rainy season, they flood a natural pool where you can swim in its cold waters. I recommend you bring a bathing suit, towel and an extra pair of water shoes or shoes that can get wet.

After a prudent time at the waterfalls to enjoy and take the pictures you want, we will start the return to your hotel, making a stop for lunch and make use of the restrooms on the route. Lunch is not included in the price.
