Enjoy the beautiful sights of the gorgeous Danube Bend on this full-day tour from Budapest. Visit the Royal Castle of Visegrád, stop for lunch in Esztergom and marvel at the interior of its famous Basilica, and stroll through Szentendre's baroque town.
Begin your day with a comfortable drive north to Esztergom, the center of Hungarian Christianity. Pay a visit to its renowned Basilica and enjoy a guided visit to marvel at the view that the cupola offers. Head to Slovakia to see the great view from the River Bank and see the old Turkis Church ruins. Make several stops by the Danube river where nature dominates.
Continue your journey and head towards the small town of Visegrd, where you can visit the famous Royal Castle and the home of the renowned yearly Knights' Tournament at the Lower Castle. Enjoy a 3-course lunch at a traditional restaurant. Then, begin to make your way back, to Budapest.
The last stop on the tour is in the beautiful town of Szentendre. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Szentendre's baroque town center and enjoy shopping for some souvenirs. Between 13 April and 27 October, you can return to Budapest by boat, except on a Monday.
