Begin your tour with a pick-up from your hotel/residence in Udaipur at around 8:00 AM. Meet your driver and guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey. The drive to Jaal Mahal takes approximately 1.5 hours, passing through scenic countryside landscapes, rural villages, and lush greenery.

On the way, make brief stops at the Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary, a beautiful forested area near Udaipur, and local villages to experience rural Rajasthan’s culture and traditions. Upon reaching Jaisamand Lake, be mesmerized by its vast expanse, spread over 36 sq. km. The lake was built in 1685 by Maharana Jai Singh to provide water to the Mewar region.

Admire the Jaal Mahal (The Island Palace) located in the middle of the lake, which was once a royal hunting lodge and summer retreat for the Mewar rulers. After exploring Jaal Mahal and Jaisamand Lake, head back to Udaipur by 4:00 PM. Drop-off at your hotel or any preferred location in the city by 6:00 PM.
