Visit Yumeyakata Gojo Shop in Kyoto at your reserved time to select your kimono. Choose from a wide range of colors, designs, and sizes. For an enhanced experience, ladies can opt for add-on services including hair styling, makeup, and upgrading to a formal kimono (such as Houmongi, Furisode, or Montsuki Hakama).

100-years Traditional Kyoto Townhouse Option

Once you are dressed, take a taxi (approximately 1,600 yen) to Yumeyakata Oike Bettei, our Traditional Machiya Townhouse. Upon arrival, your professional photoshoot will begin immediately. Spend about 30 minutes immersing yourself in the atmosphere of a 100-year-old traditional house. Our professional photographer will guide you on authentic kimono poses using props like a Japanese umbrella to ensure beautiful photos.

Higashiyama Option

Once you are dressed, take a taxi (approximately 1,600 yen) to Higashiyama, no worries about language or getting lost as our photographer will go with you. Upon arrival, your professional photoshoot will begin. Higashiyama, one of Kyoto’s most iconic and picturesque districts, surrounded by traditional wooden streets, pagodas, and temples. Our professional photographer will guide you through most charming traditional spots and capture your unforgettable moments in the perfect natural light.

After the shoot, you are free to wear your kimono and stroll around Kyoto. Please return your kimono to the Gojo shop by 5:30 PM.

Edited photos will be sent to you via email approximately 3–7 days after the photoshoot.
