Kyaraben (Character bento) is Japan's adorable lunchbox art. It's a unique part of Japanese food culture that combines art, creativity and delicious homemade cooking. Both kids and adults can enjoy making it because it's playful and charming, and it's a fun way to experience Japanese culture beyond sushi and ramen!

Let's begin by making a classic Japanese dish, Chicken Teriyaki. Learn tips and tricks to make it tender and juicy. Then, create another traditional dish, Tamagoyaki, a Japanese rolled omelette.

Next, make small side dishes. Finally, put everything together in a bento and make character faces. Once you’ve finished, enjoy your bento box and a free dessert.
