Explore one of the hidden treasures of Puerto Escondido by boat. Be amazed by the different kinds of birds and the incredible nature of this amazing lagoon that will leave you speechless.
Start the tour with pick up from the lobby of your hotel in Puerto Escondido. Then, set off on an adventure to Manialtepec Lagoon in 'Las Negras' town where a boat will be waiting for you. Climb aboard and begin exploring the lagoon and its wonderful natural refuge of migratory and local birds. Navigate through the dense vegetation so you can see the different kinds of mangroves. After 2 hours of sailing, reach the end of the lagoon where you can observe the union of the river, the sea and the lagoon - an impressive view.

Next, sail up the Manialtepec River until you will arrive at Puerto Suelo, a beautiful beach where you can disembark to take a walk, swim or enjoy a delicious meal in the palapas. After approximately 1.5 hours of exploring here, take the boat to go back to the community. Here, a van will be waiting to return you to Puerto Escondido.
