Together we will cycle and explore Marrakech's unique history and modernity by visiting the old and the new town.
Marrakech is a unique city of history and modernity. On this cycling tour, we will uncover both sides of the city by visiting the old town (the medina) and the new town (Gueliz).
Marrakech Medina with its winding souks and boisterous energy, it feels like you have stepped into another time when entering while you'll take in the views of the most important landmarks such as the medieval Kotoubia Mosque, Bab Agnoua gate and one of the biggest Jewish monuments in marrakech, the old Synagogue.
While we ride our bikes across the medina, enjoy the magnificent view of the rampart which were built on the 12th century. Jamaa El Fna, the status symbol of Marrakech is on our route, so get ready to snap some cool photos.
We'll continue our adventure to Gueliz, built by the French in the early 1900s, and it shows how much the city has changed with its wide roads and beautiful, lush parks. Passing by the beautiful train station and the Royal Theater, We will provide a unique history for various sites.
The tour will include a stop at a cafe in the old town for some famous Moroccan mint tea, water or fresh lemon mint juice. We wont miss the opportunity to share with you the local insights about the places you have visited and private recommendations to enjoy the rest of your stay.
Note: This tour is great for people who have just arrived in Marrakech and maybe it is their first or second time. It is a good introduction to the city.
