Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Airport pickup, hotel transfer, trek briefing.
Day 02: Fly to Tumlingtar - Drive to Num
Mountain flight with Makalu/Kanchenjunga views. Drive to trek start.
Day 03: Trek Num to Seduwa
Descend to Arun River bridge, through bamboo forests. Register at park office.
Day 04: Trek Seduwa to Tashi Gaun
Through mani walls, rhododendron forest, traditional villages.
Day 05: Trek Tashi Gaun to Khongma Danda
Rhododendron woodland, lunch at Dhara, stone steps to Khongma Danda.
Day 06: Acclimatization at Khongma Danda
Rest day with acclimatization hike to Khongma La (3,890m).
Day 07: Four Pass Crossing to Dobato
Spectacular day: Cross Khongma La (3,873m), Ghungru La (4,055m), Shipton La (4,216m), Keke La (4,152m). Visit sacred Kalo Pokhari lake.
Day 08: Trek Dobato to Yangle Kharka
Through pine forest, steep descent to Barun River. Chamlang/Tutse views.
Day 09: Trek Yangle Kharka to Langmale Kharka
Through grasslands, monastery, prayer flags along mani walls.
Day 10: Trek to Makalu Base Camp (4,870m)
Reach base of world's 5th highest peak. Wildlife spotting opportunities.
Day 11: Explore Makalu Base Camp
Climb to ridge viewpoint (5,300m). Panoramic views, Barun Glacier visit.
Day 12: Trek Base Camp to Yangle Kharka
Return through pine forest and alpine scenery.
Day 13: Trek Yangle Kharka to Dobato
Through rhododendron/fir forests, wooden bridges, Peak 7/6 views.
Day 14: Four Pass Return to Khongma Danda
Reverse crossing of four high passes with prayer flag moments.
Day 15: Trek Khongma Danda to Seduwa
Long descent through cloud forest. Cultural interaction, try tongba beer.
Day 16: Trek to Num - Drive to Tumlingtar
Final trek through Arun valley, drive to town for celebration.
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu
Scenic return flight with aerial mountain views.
