Day 1: Arrival in Chitwan & Guided Nature Exploration

Travel from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan and check in at your eco-friendly resort. After lunch, enjoy a guided nature drive through designated forest and buffer-zone areas with a trained local naturalist. The experience focuses on landscape interpretation, birdlife, and understanding the ecosystem, without disturbing wildlife.

In the evening, attend a Tharu cultural presentation showcasing traditional music, dance, and storytelling in a respectful and educational setting. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Tharu Village Immersion & Traditional Cooking

After breakfast, begin a full-day Tharu village immersion experience.

Guided walking tour through traditional villages, farms, and community spaces

Learn about Tharu architecture, agriculture, and daily life

Participate in a hands-on cooking session with a local family using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Enjoy the meal together and learn the cultural significance of the dishes

Listen to elders share stories, folklore, and oral history of the Tharu community

The day offers excellent opportunities for cultural photography and storytelling in a respectful environment.

Return to the resort in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the resort. Transfer to the bus station or private vehicle for departure, carrying meaningful memories of Chitwan’s culture, people, and natural surroundings.
