For about 50 minutes, wander through the vibrant market and learning about a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Your guide will introduce you to local vendors and provide detailed explanations of the produce, including fruits, vegetables, legumes, herbs, meats, fish, seafood, quinoa varieties, and little-known plants, roots, and seeds from the Andes.
After the market tour, head to the kitchen where a tasting of more 35 different exotic fruit samples is waiting for you. After preparing and while sipping a Pisco sour you get an introduction Peruvian Cuisine and the following hands-on cooking class. Under the careful instruction of your guide, you'll prepare a delicious 4-course Peruvian meal. Learn the secrets of traditional Peruvian cuisine as you chop, mix, and cook your way through each course. Once a dish is ready, enjoy eating it with your fellow participants and chat with the instructor who sets up the ingredients for the following dish. The class includes unlimited water throughout the class and homemade fruit drink served with the food. This small-group tour ensures a personalized and intimate experience.

For the market tour we will meet directly at the main entrance of market "Mercado 1 de Surquillo" below the big sign saying "Mercado 1".

If you use a traditional taxi, give the bus station = Estación 'Ricardo Palma' as a reference point, all taxi drivers know it. From there you can see the market.
The market is on block 53 of the highway 'Paseo de la República' right next to 'Estación Ricardo Palma'.
It's a 7 minutes' taxi ride from our location and a 10 minutes’ walk from the 'Ovalo de Miraflores', the center of Miraflores.
