Cusco: 5-Day Choquequirao, The Hidden Inca City Tour

Embark on an exciting expedition to Choquequirao, the Hidden Inca City. Traverse breathtaking landscapes and ancient trails as you unravel the mystery of this priceless archaeological treasure.
DAY 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIKISKA
We will begin our adventure at the Plaza Regocijo at 6:30 a.m. After a 3-hour trip, we will make a guided visit to Saywite, where we will find a stone carved by the Incas. We will continue to Cachora, specifically to Capuliyoc, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch with spectacular views of the Apurimac Canyon and the snow-capped Padreyoc. Then, we will begin a downhill hike of approximately 3 hours, passing by the viewpoints of Cocamasana until we reach Chikiska. We will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a cozy rural lodge.
DAY 2: CHIKISKA - MARAMPATA
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast before descending for 1 hour to the Apurimac River. We will cross the river and walk for more than 1 hour until we reach Santa Rosa. After a short rest, we will continue our way to the town of Marampata, where we will have lunch. You will have the afternoon free to relax after a demanding day. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: MARAMPATA - CHOQUEQUIRAO
After an early breakfast, we will depart for Choquequirao. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of this impressive archaeological center, exploring its various areas, including the upper part and the cultivation terraces, where you will be able to observe representations of llamas. Lunch will consist of a box lunch that you will take with you to Choquequirao. In the afternoon, we will return to Marampata for the night.
DAY 4: MARAMPATA - CAPULIYOC
We will wake up very early and begin our 2-hour descent to Santa Rosa, where we will enjoy a typical breakfast. Then, we will continue walking for 2 hours to the Apurimac River, where we can rest for a while. After the rest, we will ascend to Chikiska, where a delicious lunch awaits us. In the afternoon, we will walk for approximately 3 hours until we reach Capuliyoc, marking the end of our adventure. From there, we will return to our city of origin, which can be Abancay or Cusco.
