DAY 01:
From Cusco to Santa Teresa: a trip to rejuvenating hot springs
We will meet at the meeting point at 6:30 am, where you will begin your drive to Santa Teresa, a 6-hour scenic drive. Upon arrival in Santa Teresa, enjoy a delicious lunch in town before heading to the naturally heated hot springs to relax and rejuvenate. After spending a few hours soaking in the relaxing waters, continue by car to Lucmabamba. Here, you will savor a delicious dinner and camp for the night in tents, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

DAY 02:
From Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes: exploring Llactapata and Hydroelectrica along the way
Experience the charm of Llactapata, an Inca ruin located along the Salkantay trail, during the second day of hiking. From this vantage point, you will witness a stunning view of Machu Picchu from a distinctive angle.

Start your day with an early breakfast at 6:00 a.m. m. and then, from Lucmabamba, embark on a 3-hour uphill hike along the ancient Inca trail until you reach the captivating ruins of Llactapata. Take your time to appreciate the spectacular views of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu Mountain and, if the weather permits, take a look at the majestic Salkantay Mountain.

Then, descend for 2 hours to Hidroeléctrica, where you will enjoy a nutritious lunch and a well-deserved rest. The final leg of your trip is a 3-hour panoramic walk along the train tracks, which leads to Aguas Calientes.

Once in the picturesque village, you will be escorted to your lodge to take a refreshing shower and relax a bit. At 7:00 p.m. m., they will meet for a last dinner at a local restaurant and then retire for the night, eagerly awaiting their final destination: Machu Picchu.

DAY 03:
Machu Picchu – Cusco
To get to the main gate of Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, you have two options. You can embark on a 1.5-hour scenic hike or take a comfortable bus ride that costs $12.
Upon arriving at the main gate of Machu Picchu, you will meet your group and guide to enter the site and begin your unforgettable exploration of this ancient Inca citadel.
Our program includes a ticket to Machu Picchu, our experienced tour guide will guide you on a 2.5-hour guided exploration of the Inca city, following the circuit described on his ticket.
After immersing yourself in the wonders of Machu Picchu and exploring its surroundings, it is time to head back to Cusco.
