Discover the pathways of the Inca and be astonished by the wealth of archeological treasures and natural beauty along the way, hike many passes with unbelieveable Andean views. The Machu Picchu has many archeological sites, ecological zones, many species of bird and flowers as well as the famous Machu Picchu citadel. Pass through the Sungate before taking an informative tour through the ruins.
Day 1: CUSCO – KM 82 – HATUNCHACA – WAYLLABAMBA – AYAPATA
Your adventure on the Classic Inca Trail begins at 4:30am with a pick-up from your Cusco hotel. After breakfast in Ollantaytambo, you'll reach Kilometer 82 by 8:30am to start the hike. The first day is an easy warm-up with stunning views of Huillca Raccay, Llactapata, and the Veronica peak. You'll stop for lunch at Hatunchaca and then hike to the first campsite near Wayllabamba. At camp, your tent and afternoon tea will be ready for you.

Day 2: WAYLLABAMBA – DEAD WOMAN’S PASS – PACAYMAYU – CH’AQUI QQOCHA
Your guide will wake you at 5:30am with a hot drink in bed, followed by a hearty breakfast. You'll then start a steep ascent to Dead Woman's Pass (4,200m/13,779ft), spotting hummingbirds and native plants along the way. After a break at the pass, you'll descend to Pacaymayu (3,550m/11,646ft) for lunch. The afternoon involves a two-hour climb to Runkuraqay pass (4,000m/13,123ft), arriving at camp by 5pm, where tea and appetizers await. Night temperatures are around 4ºC.

Day 3: CH’AQUI QQOCHA – PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAY WAYNA
On day three, your guide will wake you at 6am with a hot drink. After breakfast, you'll gently climb to Phuyupatamarca ("Village in the Clouds") at 3,680m/12,073ft, enjoying spectacular views. You'll then descend 3,000 steps through the cloud forest to Intipata before reaching the third campsite, Wiñay Wayna, by lunchtime. Night temperatures are around 12ºC. Wiñay Wayna, named after a local orchid, is a short walk from the campsite.

Day 4: WIÑAY WAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Wake up at 3:30 AM, have breakfast at 4:00 AM, and start trekking at 5:30 AM. Arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) by 6:00 AM for breathtaking views of Machu Picchu. After a 40-minute walk, enter Machu Picchu for a two-hour guided tour, exploring its agricultural, residential, and religious sectors. Afterward, you can hike Huayna Picchu or explore on your own. Take the bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch and sightseeing. Return to Ollantaytambo by train at 2:55 or 3:20 PM, and then drive back to Cusco
