From Lima: Ballestas Islands, vineyards, and Huacachina Oasis by buggy (2 days)

Explore the Ballestas Islands, taste wines and piscos in Ica, and experience the adrenaline rush of buggy riding through the dunes of Huacachina on a 2-day adventure from Lima.
You will begin your adventure early in the morning, with pickup at your chosen boarding point. After a short break en route for breakfast, you will arrive at Paracas Bay, where you will board modern speedboats bound for the Ballestas Islands. During the tour, you will be able to admire the mysterious Candelabra figure and observe sea lions, guano birds, penguins, and other species in their natural habitat, while your tour guide shares facts and curiosities about the marine fauna.

Afterwards, you will visit the Paracas National Reserve, a protected area that safeguards the flora, fauna, and archaeological remains of the Paracas culture. There you will visit unique places such as Playa Roja, Playa Yumaque, and the Interpretation Center, where you will learn more about the history and biodiversity of the area. At the end, you will have free time to have lunch, shop, and rest before heading to your hotel in Paracas.

The next day, after breakfast, you will enjoy a free morning. At noon, you will continue your journey to Ica, where you will visit a traditional vineyard, taste local wines and piscos, and have lunch featuring typical regional dishes. Later, you will arrive at the magical Oasis of Huacachina, where you will hop on a buggy to tour the dunes and practice basic sandboarding from the top.

After this exciting experience, you will have free time to stroll around the oasis, take pictures, and shop. Finally, at 5:30 p.m., you will begin your return to Lima, arriving at the departure points around 10:30 p.m.
