Itinerary
Day 1: Arequipa - Misti Volcano
We will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. to start our adventure in a 4x4 vehicle, taking the impressive Chiguata route. After a two-hour drive, we will reach an altitude of 3300 m. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
Once at our starting point, we will begin the ascent on foot up the slope of the volcano. During the hike, you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. After approximately six hours of effort, we will arrive at base camp at 4800 meters, where you can relax and enjoy a comforting dinner. We will spend the night in this magical place, surrounded by nature.
Day 2: Misti Volcano - Arequipa
The day starts early! We will enjoy a delicious breakfast with tortillas, toast and a hot drink to recharge our batteries. Afterwards, we will start the ascent to the summit of Misti Volcano.
We will face a challenging hike to reach 5825 meters. Once at the summit, you will have an hour of free time to take impressive pictures and enjoy the panoramic views that only a place like this can offer. Your friends and family will envy you for this experience!
Finally, we will begin the descent to 3300 meters, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Arequipa. Arrival at the hotels is scheduled for 14:00 hours.
Lodging
This excursion includes one night in a cozy base camp with breakfast, where you can rest and prepare for the next exciting day.
