Ruta del Sol: 2D adventure in Amantani Island from Cusco

The “Ruta del Sol” will take you to the Sistine Chapel of America, where you can explore the floating islands of the Uros until you reach Amantani Island, where you will discover the local traditions.

Itinerary details:

Day 1: Ruta del Sol - Puno.
- The day will start with your pick up from your hotel, at approximately 6:30 am, to head to the bus terminal in Cuzco.
- Our first stop will be at the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, known as the Sistine Chapel of America.
- We will continue to the archaeological complex of Raqchi, also known as the temple of the god Wiracocha.
- We will make a brief stop for lunch at the tourist restaurant La Pascana, before continuing to the Paso de la Raya.
- We will conclude the day visiting the Lithic Museum of Pukara, where we can appreciate zoomorphic monoliths and anthropomorphic figures.

Day 2: Uros - Amantani
- The day will start with the pick up at your hotel around 7.30 am, and then we will head to the port of Puno, where we will board the motorboats.
- Our first stop will be at the floating island of the Uros, where we will enjoy a short guided tour to learn about the local culture.
- You will have free time to explore the island and take photos before continuing to Amantani Island.
- We will enjoy lunch with a local family and, in the afternoon, we will explore the upper part of the island, where the Pachatata temple is located.
- Finally, we will return to the city of Puno, arriving at 5:00 pm.
