We don’t have a toilet on the boat, but there are public restrooms available to use before the tour.
As the weather in the Azores can be very changeable, don't put off your Capelinhos Ocean Tours until the last minute. It's always good to have a few spare days.
It may also happen, that the weather conditions change and the boat tour will not take place. Your safety is most important to us . In this case we inform you about this situation and if it is possible we try to offer to postpone your tour on the nearest possible date.
As the sea is never totally calm, it is not be suitable for young children and are not recommended for pregnant women. Persons under 18 must be looked after by adults.
TOTAL TIME: around 3h30 - 4h.
Before the boat trip, we hold a short briefing to explain what we’ll be visiting and to go over the safety instructions on board. This usually takes around 30–45 minutes extra time, which should be added to the total tour time.
MEETING POINT : Capelinhos Ocean Tours office in the Horta marina, new building, Maritimo-Turistica area, downstairs, near pontoon "F".
MEETING TIME: Time and recomendations [clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses etc.] will be confirmed before the tour. There is no need to arrive earlier, as after meeting we will proceed with ticketing process, the boat tour briefieng, and safety briefieng.
