Get ready for a memorable experience in the heart of Alentejo, exploring two of the most charming and authentic locations in the region: Évora and, if selected, the historic village of Monsaraz, with a delicious tasting of Alentejo wines.

Our tour begins with departure from Lisbon to Évora, a city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will take a stroll through the historic streets of the city and visit:

The Chapel of Bones, with its walls covered with human skulls and bones;

The magnificent Évora Cathedral, with its panoramic terrace and Gothic architecture;

The impressive Roman Temple of Diana, a symbol of the Roman presence in Portugal.

You will also have free time to have lunch and explore the historic center of Évora at your own pace, with typical regional gastronomic suggestions, such as black pork, Alentejo migas, or traditional queijadas.

After lunch, we will continue with the participants who select the extended option to the medieval village of Monsaraz, one of the most charming destinations in the Alentejo. Perched on top of a hill and surrounded by well-preserved walls, Monsaraz offers panoramic views over Lake Alqueva and provides a real journey into the past.

⚠️ Important: the visit to Monsaraz is only available to those who select the "with Monsaraz" option at the time of booking. This choice cannot be changed on the day of the tour.

As part of the complete experience, this option also includes a tasting of Alentejo wines at a local producer, where you can sample typical labels and learn more about the region's winemaking process.

After the visit, we will return to Lisbon with an estimated arrival time of 5:00 PM, ending an unforgettable day of unique landscapes, history, and flavors of the Alentejo.
