The scale reveals itself gradually: towering salt walls, immense underground spaces and a steady temperature of around 12–13°C, no matter what the weather is doing above.
Look closely and the walls tell their own story. Layers and textures of salt record the geology that existed long before Romania, Dracula or any human story attached to this land.
After the stillness of Snagov, the sheer dimensions of Slănic provide the day's great contrast.
