Meet your guide in Brasov and leave the city on the route to Sinaia. Visit the Peles Castle, the former summer residence of the kings of Romania. The church was built starting with the 13th century and was surrounded by protective walls 3-4 meters thick and 12 meters high, fortified bulwarks, iron gates, and drawbridges.

Beside the firing vents on the walls, the fortress also had a fighting device called "the organ of death" that is a series of weapons set together and which simultaneously got fire, bringing about panic and heavy losses to the enemy part. Several rooms host a collection of crafts, tools, costumes, and objects specific for the Transylvanian Saxons.
