Join us for one of the most scenic and iconic walks in the Swiss Alps on this guided hike from Grütschalp to Mürren. We begin our adventure in the picturesque village of Lauterbrunnen, where a short gondola ride takes us up the steep mountainside to Grütschalp.
From the moment we step off the gondola, we’re treated to breathtaking views. The trail follows a gentle route high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, offering continuous panoramas of towering cliffs, alpine meadows, and waterfalls—many of which are fed by glaciers and eventually rush through the heart of the Trümmelbach Falls, hidden inside the mountain.
The hike is well-suited for a variety of fitness levels. It begins with a moderate uphill section of about 30 minutes, followed by a wide, well-maintained path that levels out for a relaxing and rewarding walk. Along the way, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and hear insights from your guide about the landscape and local culture.
After reaching the beautiful mountain village of Mürren, we make our way back down to the valley for a visit to the spectacular Trümmelbach Falls—a series of powerful glacier waterfalls that roar through tunnels carved deep into the rock.
