Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Grand tour of southern Tunisia
Early departure from Djerba by ferry. First stop at a café for a presentation of the itinerary with your guide.

Visit a troglodyte house in Matmata and meet a Berber family.

Stop in Douz, with the option of a camel or quad bike ride in the dunes.

Crossing of Chott El Jerid, famous for its lunar landscapes and mirages.

Lunch with a local family in Tamerza, in the heart of the mountain oases.

Exploration of the mountain oases

Chebika and its mountain oasis.
Tamerza and its majestic waterfall.
Midès and its large canyons.
4x4 adventure on the old Dakar Rally track, crossing Lake Chott El Gharsa.

Stop at Ong Jmal and conquer the dunes to Mos Espa, the legendary Star Wars site. Enjoy a magnificent sunset over the dunes.
