Explore the wonders of Cusco on a half-day tour, visiting its historical sites and the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park. Delve into the fascinating heritage of this enchanting city.
We will begin our excursion by going up to the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, an imposing fortress that radiates serenity and allows us to admire its enormous stones, some up to 4 meters high, which were part of its construction.
Then, we will go to Qenqo, an ancient temple dedicated to the Puma, where we will be able to observe an altar carved in an enormous rock, used for sacrifices. Afterwards, we will visit Tambomachay, famous for its sacred fountains that represent life and health. On the way, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, an ancient watchtower that controlled access to the city.
The tour will continue with a stop at the Temple of the Sun, Korikancha, which was covered entirely by sheets of gold, according to legend, and which amazed the conquerors upon arrival. Above this temple stands the Convent of Santo Domingo.
We will end our tour in the Main Square, where we will explore the Cathedral, home to valuable colonial paintings and works of art, including the Cross brought by the first conquerors.

On Sunday mornings, Koricancha does not open, so you will only see the exterior.
The entrance ticket to Sacsayhuaman is valid only for the specific date booked. It is non-refundable if changes to the tour date are made less than 7 days before the original tour date. You would have to buy a new ticket (additional fee) if this happens.
