8:30 AM our guide will meet you at your hotel and go to explore a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers and buy ingredients for the cooking class.
9:30 AM a car will take you to Phu Lanh Travel. You will enjoy a welcome drink, then go to Cam Thanh coconut palm village. Upon arrival, our guide will take a brief information about the village as well as the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, local families and community before you board on coracle boat.
It is time for you to jump on a basket boat for a funny 45 minutes ride around the forest for exploring the Thu Bon river cannels and enjoy coracle boat performances by local artists. After that, you will be entertainment by how to make souvenirs from palm leaves, boat shaking and crab-catching.
10:15 AM return to Phu Lanh Travel, take a short time to refresh and get ready for lantern making class. The guide will take a brief introduction about the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as the stages to make them. Then, you can make your own lantern and bring it home as a souvenir.
10:45 AM you will be joined a cooking class course by a local host. They will show you how to cook some of the local specialties and then enjoy the meal such as:
• Hoi An fried spring rolls
• Vietnamese rice pancake
• Papaya salad with chicken
• Special food of Hoi An – Cao Lau noodle
1:00 PM end of service. Our car will take you back to the hotel.
