Travel along Avenida Marginal to Praia d Bote, Diogo Afonso, Belem Tower, and Fish Market, arrive at African Market, then take a stroll on to Church Square where the first community was established, head on to the Municipal Market where you will find an array of colorful fruits, vegetables, natural teas and handicrafts. Take a stroll along Rua Lisboa (the heartbeat of the city) and its barefoot ‘Walk of Fame’ representing the many famous artists, musicians, poets, and writers of Cabo Verde. Stop at the home of Cesária Évora, our Queen of Morna, and famous ‘Barefoot Diva’.
