Discover the beauty of Tianmen Mountain on a guided tour from Zhangjiajie. Ride the world’s longest cable car, walk on the glass skywalk, and visit the famous 99-Bend Heaven’s Road.
Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at the Zhangjiajie Railway Station Square or the plaza outside the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car Station. Board an air-conditioned coach and head to the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area.
Arrive at the lower cable car station and take the 7.5-kilometer-long cable car to the mountain top. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape during the 28-minute ride.
Once at the top, explore the west route, including the Lingxiao View Platform, Ghost Valley Cliff Plank Road, the famous Glass Skywalk, Qier Cave, and forest trails. Take a break for lunch (at your own expense) before continuing your adventure.
In the afternoon, visit the east area, including the Tianmen Cave viewing platform. If you prefer, take an optional escalator (40 CNY per person) to skip the 999 stone steps. Admire the spectacular 99-Bend Heaven’s Road before taking the cable car back down the mountain.
Return to your original meeting point by coach, concluding your full-day tour of Tianmen Mountain.
