Begin your day by meeting your guide at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel. Head to the Yu Garden, a 400-year-old classical Chinese garden masterpiece. Admire the classic imperial-style pavilions, peaceful ponds, and unique rock formations.
Next, explore the Chenghuang Miao Quarter. Roam around Shanghai Old Street in the Chenghuang historic zone, soaking up vivid local vibes and traditional customs. Tea house visits are optional based on personal preference.
Then, head to Tianzifang, a vibrant arts and crafts enclave. Stroll through classic Shanghai shikumen lanes, browse creative handicraft shops, and local specialty stores.
Board the coach and depart for Zhujiajiao Water Town, around a 1-hour drive. Arrive at Zhujiajiao and taste authentic Shanghai-style snacks. Visit Kezhi Garden in Zhujiajiao, known as Shanghai’s Venice. Stroll across ancient stone bridges, quiet water canals, and elegant private gardens.
Finish your water town sightseeing and take the coach back to downtown Shanghai. Arrive at the Bund. Listen to vivid historical stories while viewing the world-famous architectural cluster. The guided tour ends here, and you can freely explore the Bund and enjoy gorgeous night views afterwards.
