Meet your guide at the Dry Dock Road Boat Ramp in Tweed Heads South and hop aboard your boat. Cruise down the river and out over the Tweed bar. Keep an eye out, as dolphins often join you at the river mouth.
Arrive at Cook Island, a protected aquatic reserve. Tie up to a mooring buoy and run through your safety briefing and the turtle code of conduct.
Get in the water and float over seagrass beds and rocky reefs while turtles and schools of fish cruise past beneath you.
Relax knowing that you don’t need to be a strong swimmer. Flotation devices are available for anyone who wants them, and the skipper keeps watch over the group the whole time, so you can relax and enjoy the show.
