Begin your private alpine day trip with pickup directly from your Salzburg hotel or accommodation. Relax on the scenic drive through the Salzach Valley to the Kitzsteinhorn valley station in Kaprun.

Your driver helps you reach the correct departure point and remains with the vehicle while you explore the mountain independently. Use your included round-trip cable-car ticket to travel through several alpine zones to TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 metres. Allow approximately four hours for the complete mountain experience, including the ascent and descent.

At the top, visit the panoramic platforms overlooking Hohe Tauern National Park, walk through the National Park Gallery, and experience Cinema 3000. During July and August, the seasonal ICE ARENA may also be available. Take time for photographs and, if you wish, purchase a snack or lunch at the mountain restaurant. Cable cars and mountain facilities are operated by the official Kitzsteinhorn staff; this is a self-guided visit.

After returning to the valley, meet your driver and continue to Zell am See. Enjoy approximately 90 minutes of free time to explore the historic pedestrian centre, walk along the Lake Zell promenade, shop, or relax in a café. A boat cruise is optional when seasonal schedules allow and is not included.
