Begin your tour with a drive to the Blue Grotto, a series of sea caverns on Malta's southern coast. Arrive at the caves and admire the way the sunlight reflects off the water, creating a dazzling display of blue hues.
If the weather permits, take a 25-minute boat trip around the caves at an extra cost. See the brilliant phosphorescent colors of the underwater flora and the deep, dark shades of blue in the caverns.
Next, head to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, a popular attraction for tourists and locals. Browse the market, where you can buy fresh fish and seafood caught that morning, as well as locally produced honey, fruit jams, wine, vegetables, souvenirs, and clothes. Enjoy free time to explore the village at your own pace.
