Combine a St. Maarten rhum distillery and beer brewery tour with up to 1.5 hours at Maho Beach. Air-conditioned transfer, as well as pickup from the cruise port and most major hotels included.
Meet your guide at your hotel or the EDC bus parking area inside the St. Maarten cruise ship terminal. Hop into your air-conditioned minivan or bus and travel to the first stop, a local brewery. Along the way, listen to some interesting facts about St. Maarten from your knowledgeable local guide and admire the scenery.

First, your guide will take you to either SXM Brewery or Pelikaan Brewery, where you will learn how locally brewed beer is made in a guided visit. Hear about the brewery’s story and brewing process, with time to ask questions and enjoy your first beer, included in the tour.

Want to try more? An optional tasting flight is available at a discounted price, giving you a chance to compare several beers. Additional drinks are paid for separately.

Next, head to Topper’s Rhum Distillery for a rhum tasting. The tasting introduces you to a selection of small-batch rhums, with time to compare flavors and ask questions. You’ll also try Topper’s signature rhum cake, adding a different way to enjoy the spirit beyond the tasting glass.

Next, head to Maho Beach, beside Princess Juliana International Airport. Aircraft approach the runway directly over the beach, making it one of the most famous things to see in St. Maarten.

As soon as you arrive, you will get a welcome drink at Sunset Beach Bar, which has the best views of the arriving planes. Lunch is available to purchase, and beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented separately.

Spend up to 1.5 hours at Maho, with time to photograph arriving planes and relax by the sea. Explore Maho Village, browse the shops, or visit Casino Royale. Your guide will confirm the meeting point and departure time before you head off.

After your time at Maho, meet your guide for the return journey to your hotel or cruise port drop-off point. For cruise passengers, we plan the tour around your ship’s schedule and guarantee your return before the all-aboard time.

Cruise Ship Passengers Cruise ship passengers will be picked up at the EDC bus parking area inside the cruise ship terminal. After disembarkation, follow the EDC signs towards Harbor Point Village, where the bars, jewelry stores and main terminal building are located. Pass the taxi dispatch center to arrive at a roundabout with the sign "Hope To See You Again Soon". Follow the sidewalk to the left toward the EDC bus parking area. Ask at the security booth for Twin Island Excursions. You can also ride on the trolley from the cruise ship to the EDC bus parking area. The driver will expect a tip. In case of any difficulties, ask the security officers or taxi dispatchers for directions to the EDC private tour bookings parking area.
