We begin by delving into the deep historical roots of Ethiopia and the founding of Addis Ababa.
· National Museum: We step back millions of years at this world-class museum. Here, you will meet "Lucy" (Dinkinesh), the famous hominid fossil that rewrote human history. The museum also houses royal artifacts from the imperial era, connecting you directly to Ethiopia's majestic past.
· Mount Entoto: We then drive to the city's highest point. This is where Emperor Menelik II established his capital before descending to found Addis Ababa. The panoramic view from here is breathtaking and offers a strategic perspective on the city's expansion. We visit the simple yet historic Entoto Maryam Church, a site that echoes the early days of the empire.
2. The PRESENT: The Vibrant, Beating Heart (Afternoon)
After lunch,we immerse ourselves in the vibrant, chaotic, and creative energy of contemporary Addis Ababa.

· Merkato: Prepare for an explosion of senses at one of Africa's largest open-air markets. This is the commercial heart of the city, a bustling microcosm where everything from spices and coffee to electronics and textiles is traded.
