Travel across Uyuni’s vast salt flats, colorful lagoons, flamingo habitats, unique rock formations, hot springs, and spectacular Altiplano scenery from La Paz.
DAY 1 – OVERNIGHT BUS FROM LA PAZ TO UYUNI
Leave La Paz aboard an overnight bus to Uyuni. Travel in a reclining seat with heating, an onboard restroom, pillow, and polar blanket.
Please carry 2.50 BOB in cash per person for the mandatory bus terminal fee, which must be paid before departure.
DAY 2 – UYUNI SALT FLATS & INCAHUASI
Arrive in Uyuni at approximately 7:30 AM. Our team will welcome you at the bus office before some free time at a nearby café. Return to our office for check-in and meet your driver.
Departure at 10:30 AM.
Train Cemetery – Discover historic locomotives from Uyuni’s railway past.
Colchani – Learn about local salt production and browse salt, alpaca, and llama wool products.
Uyuni Salt Flats – Visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and Dakar Monument.
Incahuasi Island – Walk among giant cacti and ancient coral formations while enjoying panoramic views.
Perspective Photos – Create playful optical-illusion photos across the vast salt surface.
Sunset – Enjoy the evening colors with wine and chips.
Overnight: Salt accommodation in Atulcha.
DAY 3 – LAGOONS, FLAMINGOS & DESERTS
After breakfast, depart at 7:00 AM and continue across the Bolivian Altiplano.
Chiguana Desert – Cross open plains surrounded by colorful mountains.
Ollagüe Volcano – Stop at a viewpoint overlooking the volcano and highlands.
Andean Lagoons – Visit Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota, where flamingos can often be seen.
Siloli Desert – Explore remote sandy terrain and unusual rock formations.
Stone Tree – See this distinctive formation shaped by wind and erosion.
Laguna Colorada – Admire its reddish waters and flamingos along the shores.
Overnight: Basic accommodation in Huayllajara or Polques, subject to availability.
DAY 4 – HOT SPRINGS & LAGOONS
Depart at 5:00 AM for the final day across the Altiplano.
Sol de Mañana – Observe active fumaroles and bubbling mud pools.
Polques Hot Springs – Relax in naturally heated waters surrounded by Altiplano scenery.
Dalí Desert – Pass through its distinctive high-altitude landscape.
Green & White Lagoons – Admire the contrasting waters beneath Licancabur Volcano.
Return to Uyuni – Arrive between approximately 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM., marking the end of your 4-day tour.
