Day 1: Avatar's Floating Mountains & Exoskeleton Adventure

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in the Wulingyuan area. Head to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance and rent an intelligent exoskeleton device at the Yangjiajie entrance or service point.

This wearable robot reduces physical strain by up to 30%, making the steep climb to Yuanjiajie (home of the "Hallelujah Mountains") feel flat. You can also use it to assist with the descent or walking along the ridge.

In the afternoon, take the Bailong Elevator (the world's highest outdoor elevator) to the top. Visit Yuanjiajie to see the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. The exoskeleton will be especially helpful when navigating the stone steps here.

After breakfast, transfer to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station in Zhangjiajie City (approx. 40 mins drive). Board the world's longest high-mountain cableway (7.5km) for a breathtaking ride to the summit.

While hiking the Glass Skywalk (cliffside path), you may encounter the "Benzene Benzene" (笨笨) robot or other service robots. These robots act as "folk culture ambassadors," interacting with tourists, taking photos, and providing information (some even do calligraphy!).

In the afternoon, descend via the 999-step "Heaven's Gate" staircase or take the shuttle bus down.
