Access is easy via a short trail from the parking area, making it an excellent option for families, couples, or independent travelers. The coastal environment is framed by mangroves, cacti, and manzanillo trees (caution: they are toxic), and it’s common to observe birds like flamingos, finches, and whimbrels, as well as marine iguanas resting on the rocks.
In its calm waters, you can swim, snorkel, and, with luck, spot rays and sea turtles. It’s an ideal place to enjoy a beach day with a picnic, although it’s important to bring provisions and remember that leaving trash or feeding the local wildlife is not allowed.
